I went on the Porter Rockwell trail to the Draper temple, dropped into Corner Canyon, took the Bonneville Shoreline trail North and then took Wasatch back home.

I didn't take any water or fuel, but I've started worrying about how my body is going to react to food and water during the race. I might start eating race food at specific times during training runs.

Solid long run and great finish.

My two cents - I rarely take anything on long runs, maybe just some drinks when Andrea bikes w/ me. It's good to teach your body to look for "backup" fuel sources - burn what ya got.

But at the same time, you need to do a couple long runs where you mimic what you plan to do in the marathon, just to make sure your stomach can handle it. I think if you do that twice without any major problems, you'll be fine at St George.

OK that makes sense. I'll do some race type fueling for two of my long runs.
