7.1 mi. Lately, I feel like my heart rate has been higher than it should be on my easy runs, but this morning's run felt right. Maybe after all that time off I'm starting to build a foundation of fitness up again. I've just got to keep it up and make sure I run every day. At some point soon I'm going to have to finalize a real plan for my next race, the Canyonlands Half Marathon, at the end of March.

Good to see you going again. Keep it sensible through December, just log some miles and stay healthy. Then you'll be able to do a good buildup for Canyonlands.

Good advice. I'll stick with 30 mi or less per week throughout December. I just need to be willing to ramp up miles slowly and listen to my body better so I don't get injured.
